We have an immediate opening for an experienced transportation broker.

We are looking for a self starting/energetic person that can manage & grow our logistics business. Our logistics division works with customers on LTL, FTL, expedited, container drayage, Customer brokerage, and any unique requirement of our customers. We provide a transportation solution to every customer request. This division also supports all other divisions giving us the ability to never say no to a customer request.

Duties:

• Expand customer base through telephone marking



• Ability to source new vendors and provide logistics services to existing and new customers



• Negotiate rates with LTL and FTL vendors



• Manage business based on predefined business matrix



• Develop and implement plan for growth with in this division



• Source carriers and prove excellent service to existing and new customers



• Perform the daily business operations



• Expand our business and our ability to support our customers

Requirements:

• Experience with transportation brokerage



• Self starting/energetic individual



• Shows Initiative



• Professional communication skills



• Proficient in Microsoft products



• Strong negotiating skills



• Ability to manage business



• Creative & customer driven
